CHICAGO 02/08/2006 — The Civic Si Sedan Concept is making its debut at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show, American Honda Motor Co., Inc., announced today.

The Civic Si Sedan Concept provides strong hints of the styling and performance for a production Civic Si Sedan scheduled to go on sale this fall, marking the first time that “Si” performance has become available in the Civic Sedan. Similar to the recently introduced Civic Si Coupe, the production Civic Si Sedan will serve as another performance leader for the Civic line-up with a 197-horsepower, 16-valve, DOHC i-VTEC engine with an 8,000 rpm redline, mated to a close-ratio, 6-speed manual transmission. Helping to put all that power to the ground is a helical-type, limited slip differential for improved traction and cornering performance.

Mugen already got their hands on one with the dominator concept. It was basically what you see there, but the Mugen version.

I'm glad to see the "Si" sedan made it to US market though. they don't have a coupe over there, so the new civic (with the k20) was done over there already though I am unsure of the nomenclature change.

the coupe comes with an LSD as well

what's interesting about this concept is that a photoshop of the civic Si into a sedan form was submitted to Honda by a Temple of VTEC user and they liked the idea

LSD is good though. I really like those wheels on that grey color.

(literally, the rear-end always seems to kill the car, the wing-ugly, lights-ulgy--all IMO)
if the rear lights was just the triangluar part outside the trunk-itd be hot.

but other than that i like it

i think the tails look good the way they are. it makes it more agressive


i like it. only thing i hate bout it is the wing.
