I have been a Wedding DJ in houston for 7 years and I am looking for somebody that knows the industry or thinks they know music enough to get the job done.
Requirements:
Be dependable and available on Saturdays
Dress very professional (White shirt and Black Slacks)
Be able to lift heavy equipment (Speakers, Mixer Rack, Cables, etc.)
Know all types of music
Have a good collection of music on CD (+)
Bilingual Music Skills (+)
Does not mind giving up their Saturday Nights to make extra $$
You are not required to make any announcements as I am always the one doing all the MC'ing but you are required to play music for the event.
I do a lot of Quinceaneras, Weddings (English Music), Bodas (Spanish Music), and a lot of mixed race Events (English and Spanish). I would prefer somebody that knows the English music more than the Spanish music since that is my biggest market at this time.
Pay will be DOE, but you will not receive less than $80 a night and up to 50% of the event price. Weddings run anywhere from $400 - $1,000 so you can make some serious money if you are serious about working in this industry.
I have no preference over male or female DJ's anybody is a great candidate, all that I require is that you know the Music and be able to play music while I am making sure that the guests are having a good time.
