We're looking for some experienced writers who want to join Dubspeed Driven and help us review some of the cars that we're getting in on a regular basis. While this is not a paying job yet, we are looking for "staff" members who can write regularly for our site.

We work directly with most of the major manufacturers, and so far they have been very happy with our work. This is a great opportunity for someone who is wanting to break into journalism as a career.

Some examples of cars we've reviewed:
Audi A8L
Audi A3 3.2 Quattro
Audi S4 Quattro
Dodge Charger R/T
Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI
Mazda MX-5
Jaguar S-Type R
Jaguar XJ8L
Volvo S60R

Examples of what kind of cars we are scheduled to review in the coming months.

Subaru WRX
Subaru Legacy GT B-Spec
VW Jetta GLI
VW GTI
Chrysler 300 SRT8
Dodge Magnum SRT8
Dodge Viper SRT10
Mercedes-Benz ML350
Mitsubishi Evo MR
Corvette w/ Paddles
Corvette Z06
BMW M5

Requirements are simple...

- Must have a college background with a substantial focus on writing or communications.

- Must have excellent writing skills. We are very picky about the writing we publish.

- Must be familiar with the auto industry.

- Must have an extremely clean background check and driving record.

- Must be located in Houston, preferably NW to W Houston.

- Must be able to work under strict deadlines.

If you fit all the criteria, and only if you fit all the criteria, please PM me and I'll tell you what I'd like to see as far as submissions for us to base our decisions off of.

DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME IF YOU THINK YOU JUST WANT TO DRIVE THE CARS FOR FUN. THIS IS A SERIOUS OPPORTUNITY AND WILL BE TREATED AS SUCH.

nonpaying job, yet looking for a college background.

yeah righti guess it's kind of like a non-paid internship. it may not provide you with cash but it can provide you the stepping stone to get you somewhere else.

Its not a job. Its driving a car around for a few days and writing an article here or there. Its something we ourselves don't get paid to do...we do it because its something we enjoy. Clearly you don't have that understanding, and clearly you aren't the type of person we'd be looking for. Why even bother posting?

Too bad I'm in Austin, I haven't written a ton of articles, but I've worked in the newspaper industry for 8 years. If you ever expand in to Austin let me know :(

I'm in the Dallas area and if you need help with photos or copy writing I'm always down.

I am not always a harsh reviewer of cars :)

Hi Zerin, this is Mike (your neighbor up the road)

I would be interested in this and find the joy of being able to experience different fine automobiles payable in itself. As you know me I've had a bit of experience driving everything from Honda Ridgelines to Mustang GT's to Mercedes E55 AMG's, plus a very long list of over cars. So I'd like to say I have a developed palate for different tastes.

Let me know.:)
