Pretty damn sweet, dont see many Land Rovers offroad around here... all urban concrete pounders.
I wonder if we could trim your fenders some to fit bigger tires... Unless 31's is as big as you can go before a re-gear is required.

nah i have plans to run 36's but i need to get some money first.
heres the plan for it:
-2 in body lift
-fender flares
-chromoly axles
-arb's (4.71) front and rear
-onboard air
-homemade bumper and 9000lbs hydraulic winch
-36" bfg m/t's
-modified rear bumper for better departure angle
-roll cage
-flex joint to u-joint conversion
i think that about covers everything

oh yea, and some suspension stuff, but i dont know what way i want to go with that yet (full coil over, cones, heim jointed rear links or regular, ect ect) Scorpion Racing makes a pretty sweet system but theyre expensive.

Please don't get the bodylift... I beg you :hs: So much extra stress put on the body... plus they look kinda bleh. IMO of course, tis yours to tinker with
Still looks badass though, props on the work thus-far :thumb:

oh come on, mines a daily driver too. In all honestly the lift helps daily drivability. Its a much better suspension setup and feels much more stable. Though it probably doesnt help much with gas mileage. Speaking of which, what does yours get? Currently i get around 12-13 but its all city stop-and-go crap.

i agree, on most trucks they do look pretty bad. Ive only seen one rover with it and it looked alright. I wont need that extra lift unless i want to go with somehting over a 35" tire, so yea i probably wont do it. A fully locked rover on 35's should get me anywhere i need/want to go.
p.s. thanks for all the comments, lookin forward to a spring creek or 242 off-road trip, if that ever gets put together

the wife has a hard enough time putting the baby seat in the back as it is, any higher and she'll need a step ladder, lol. i'm getting about 15ish city and 17ish highway.

sweeeeeeeeeeet ass rover!!!!
good to see someone putting it's full potential to use instead of using it for urban sprawling for it's life.
do i hear camel trophy?:2cooleek:

haha, thanks, i dont think it'll be in the camel trophy, definitely dont have the funding for that. And yes, you cant truely enjoy a land rover until you take it off road. Makes for a great daily driver and moderate trail rig.

well if you want to "put it through what its made for" then i suggest getting an early 90s RRC, or if ur not set on the rangie just get a 95 disco, such as this one.
