I like that, it's clean. I'd ditch the chrome gascap, but it looks nice otherwise.

what set up are you going with?
Up front Ive got ART upper and lower arms, Suicide doors cups, and RE-7 slam bags.

I dont care about it being supper fast so Im sticking with SMC 3/8 valves and half inch line. I was going to use all the stuff from my car. BUt now Im thinking of keeping the cavy on air. SO now I need to fork out the cash for new compressors and valves.

But out back Im not really sure what I want to do.
2 link is cheep but gets trashed on s10forum.com But I Know many people with them and no problems. Besides I will hardly ever be driving this truck. JUst a sat night dragger.

If I dont go with the 2 link I may go with the Cando 6 link. But Its about $750

1988 Cherokee 4.0L 4x4 AW4/NP242
Currently sitting on approximately 4" of lift, Rubicon Express 3.5" SF, .75" spacer up front, dinky shackles out back. Fabbed up some homebrew quick-disconnects, yanked the rear swaybar (not necessary, was eliminated by Jeep in later models anyhow) - get some crazy flex out of the suspension now. Current tires - 31x10.50x15 ProComp Xterrains (which suck - ProComp tires are smaller than the sidewall size.. these measure 29.3"); 33x12.50x15 MFG Mud's enroute, going to be here either today or Monday depending on Fedex's promptness. Performance-wise, not much.. new Ford 19lb injectors (couple of ones that came with it were crapping out), header, dumped catless exhaust w/ Borla, and removed the airbox silencer venturi. Other mods so far are the Baja lights (wally world, actually really nice quality and brightness/beam pattern), and trimmed fenders to run larger tires with a small lift to retain the stability of the lower CoG. System, some Pioneer Premiere headunit w/ dot-matrix animations.. dunno what model, and a single 5 1/4" MB Quart speaker - blown the rear speakers, shorted the other front when I almost rolled in a really deep mud hole.

Bought it off Rob from SpeedFetish with the tires, header/exhaust, and lift so he gets some credit too :)

3/8 valves and 1/2 line will be fine. i had 1/4 manual stuff on my last truck, and that SUCKED. The 2link seems to be really popular here, and everyone i know that has one seems to be ok with them, but there are a few things that keep me from wanting to try one out. the rear end will go side to side some when you lift/drop (because of the panhard bar i guess), they have no articulation, and it seems like they would be hell on u-joints unless you kept it at one heigth constantly. But like I said, everyone I know that has one sems pleased, and they're better than a monoleaf setup. Why not check into the suicidedoors four links?


I don't have any pics of my truck(s) at the moment but I will get some up whenever i get the chance. The daily driver is a '96 silverado 1500 ecsb, fairly stock for now other than a muffler, rear-leveling drop shackles, and clear corners, but it will get lowered 4/6 and have a few more things done to it within the next few months. I'll prolly never 'finish' it concidering everything i have planned for it, and the fact that I also have another money pit, haha. The 'project' is a 70 c10, but I won't even be able to mess with it any until september when i get out of school. (I'm going to uti right now)
