Except on weekends. That damn place isn't open on weekends, so when I have to get scheduled maintenance done, I have to sit there and wait for hours (or leave work to come in during the week). I mean what kind of service company isn't open on weekends?

The Enterprise at Mercedes Benz of Houston North is not open. Since I bought my Benz from that dealership, I get a free MB loaner whenever I have to bring my car in, unless it's a weekend. So I usually have to take off work early to fight the traffic on a Friday to get my loaner. It pisses me off.

Just my two cents, but most of the people I've met from Enterprise or Hertz have BBAs or BA degrees. The last guy I met there had a BBA in marketing from Baylor. So I doubt many of you are overqualified.

It's not about literacy, it's about knowledge:
Enterprise places all of their employees in the "management training program." Essentially, they tell all of their employees that they can become district managers in a relatively short period of time. It's a gimick to convince college graduates to work low-wage and menial jobs in the hopes that they'll make it to management soon. Of course, a requirement to be in the "program" is a bachelor's degree in virtually anything.

Ok I'm a bit lost. So do you need a degree to be a porter there? What're the requirements and are they still hiring? cuz I'm planning on heading over there tomorrow after school to pick up an app.

It's probably an office run by the dealership, considering it shares a room with the maintenance waiting area and it has a bunch of MB loaners.

do you think it is better to go there in person or call up them? Can you apply online?
NgoFcukinWay
02-02-2006, 11:41 AM
I talked to Kristy and she said to apply online at www.enterprisejobs.com then call her so that she can print out your application and set up an interview. Two requirements i saw though was that you have to be at least 21 with 2 years of driving experience with a clean record.
