Are first impressions everything ?

Its obviously true.. Some guys do get nervous.. and everything just tangles up.

First impression is very effective when your having a interview or with the parents of the girl, you get what im saying?

They can be. sometimes right away you get the "wtf am i doing here?" or the "where you been all my life" feeling but its all depending on the person your meet.

The main thing about first impression is the break the tension of being nervous and just have a great laugh... Then you start getting to know the person afterwards.

go up to her give her a flower and introduce your self, most of the guys dont do that, there just like CAN I HOLLA or WASSAP ETC ETC ETC.

They should be, you may only get once chance to meet a person. Without leaving a good impression that is a much greater chance that is the last time you meet them.

Depending on the situation, yes they are. IMO a perfect first impression is when a person acts Normal. Sometimes you can just tell when they are trying to hard..

Very important IMO. Even if the guy is really nervous and is acting funny, you can usually see right through that. Just means they are attracted to you, just embarrased. Nothing wrong with that. A bad first impression is something someone can prevent.

Example: You start a new job and you introduce yourself to someone already working there. That someone acts better then you and kind of blows you off. IMO that person sucks and left me a bad first impression, therefor I could careless to ever talk to that person again. Unless of course it was my boss or someone important.

Well, when I said that I meant something along the lines of being nervous and saying something stupid shouldn't count as a B.F.I., but being a dick to someone, you can prevent.

yesyesyesyeyseyes . first can either fforward you to the top of their list or.deject you to their "stay the hell away from that weirdo" list...no matter how nice you are if you end up looking like a weirdo...trust me. she's never gonna call again loL....bbuuut as saros says usually you can tell if they're just acting nervous and weird around you because they like you :] so they might think that's cute and say waddup the next day :D
