Special Event Administrative Assistant
“Building CityFest Houston” Fundraiser
Event: “Building CityFest Houston” fundraiser for CityFest Houston with Luis Palau on Thursday, March 23, 2006 at the Hyatt Hotel Downtown. The event will entail a pre-reception and dinner for 1,000 guests.
Supervisor: Rebecca Yanez, Director of Corporate Sponsors for CityFest. (Also Director of the “Building CityFest” Fundraiser.)
Time Commitment: Part-time initially, additional hours required as event approaches
Job Responsibilities:
□ Maintain Event database, budget, and other spreadsheets
□ Work with Rebecca to provide regular updates and information to Fundraising Director, Festival Director, and Fundraiser Chair and Committee
□ Provide updated spreadsheet information on a regular basis
□ Track mail, emails, and other material related to the event
□ Assist Rebecca with event details
□ Attend Fundraiser, staff, or other meetings as needed
□ Assist the evening of March 23 and assist Rebecca in details of the evening
□ Assist with follow up and final database tracking following the event
Job Qualifications:
□ Skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
□ Skilled in database management and tracking
□ Understanding of Special Event details
□ Knowledge of CityFest Houston with Luis Palau and commitment towards its mission and goals
