Basically like any other job..
Full time gets them all.. Sick pay, Rx benefits, medical coverage programs, life insurance, etc...
I haven't seen a single vacation pay for me, and I'm part time :-(
But you get a discount tho.. 20% on all, 30% on CVS-brand. And you dont get discount on sale items.. Like if its 2.99 sale price, with your discount it's still 2.99.
i would go for walgreens . take it from an ex-cvs/eckerd employee.

Ok I was an assistant manager of a CVS for a year and as a manager I made just over $6/hr. So don't think you'll get much better lol. The job blows as well, it doesn't matter if you are a set photo lab "tech" you will still be running the front and doing everything. You will ring people out, do photolab maint., stock, cycle counts, BOH scans, and maney maney more super fun things along with having some mid 30's woman bitching at you unlike the devil himself could because she couldnt get her drugs over and over and over again.
Photo is one of the worst jobs I've done as well. All the chemicals you gotta mix and all the shit you gotta clean and then having to develop some 300lb black ladies cameras that she used when she wanted to take some sexy pics with her toy. *sudders* those images will haunt you.
Hours are as fallowed:
Store/Photo: 8am-10PM M-S
RX: 8am-10pm M-F, 8am-6pm Sat, 10am-6pm Sun.
Now if you think that you can take all this then go right ahead and apply, don't say I didn't warn you though.

It sounds fishy. Usually, managers are paid salary because they are exempt employees. Why pay someone an hourly when you can pay someone on salary and get free overtime?*
Secondly, $6/hr = $12,000 per year salary. Who would do that?
* For those who don't know: there are two types of employees: exempt and non-exempt. The term refers to exemption from overtime laws. Basically, if you are non-exempt, you must be paid your regular salary, plus time and a half over 40 hours, plus double time for seven straight days. If you are exempt, you are only paid your salary regardless of how much you work (i.e. the company gets free overtime from the person). So why would a company make someone non-exempt? It's the law. Companies generally make everyone they legally can exempt. This includes professionals (engineers, pharmacists, doctors, lawyers) and management.

I sounds like bullshit to begin with becuase managers are given monthly bonuses based on triple S scores not to mention the fact that they get paid every 2 weeks salary at cvs............. Which store did you work at and how long ago was it?
i love cvs, tech position, tho... the photo lab would suck ass

One of my best freinds woks at CVS and she makes close to $10.00/hr and she works the front and is a photo-tech. Maybe you were just incompetent.
