American Specialty Cars (ASC) has announced the new open-topped Cosmos concept. Based on a Hummer H3, the Cosmos is equipped with a new fabric-top that can open the entire cabin, or the passenger and cargo areas selectively.

Hummer has always been commercial. The military ones were called the HMMWV or HUMVEE for short, and were produced by AM General. Hummer is a civilian brand.

well what I meant was once EEEEVERYBODY started buying a Hummer and it was no longer thought of as just a military vehicle but a family SUV (H2/H3)
