i get off of work at 9pm, i can hurry and get there at around 11 or so, will you guys still be there? im driving from beaumont, hell, id be willing to drive to houston for a 240 meet, everyone around here with a 240 either seems to be an old lady or some ugly college girl, anyways, i drive a 98 5spd, if ur gonna ask me about the screen name, its in the works...

i've been looking around JSPEK and there is a prelude meet at the starbucks at westheimer and post oak AKA JAMBA JUICE...people have asked to combine our small meet with the prelude meet in hoping that we can have one large meet over there....i'm over there a lot and i know we won't get kicked out of that lot aslong as we get some coffee....is anyone else up for this...?

i was goin to say the same thing, but the problem is that most of the 240s arent goin to be there till 10:30-11 and alotta people will probably be gone by then.........but yeah i guess we need more responses on wat the othas wana do........no matta wat ill be there at one or the otha probably both-peace

oh, Vic, that wasnt my car, that was probbaly Brandon's car, we pulled over and checked out each other's cars out, and i met ronald too, another pearl white 98, prety cool, eventho there was nobody there but a hatchback and an integra, im not going to another meet unless a lot of people will go as previously said, but overall, i cant complain, laterz

sorry i wasent able to show up to the last meet, but i dont really feel like driving all the way to Westheimer even though its the best spot to go. There was me and some other 240 at the Sugarland meet on Friday. I dunno maybe another place thats more reasonable for everyone so that its close to them,

Ok this is all my opinion but let me reiterate what i have said before about these 240 meets.

There are many 240s out there but we all live separate....240 meets are not as popular as the other meets since they are fairly new so ppl have a hard time getting one together..for example..we hold one and say 4 ppl showed up that night and the others didnt bc it was cold or they were working or whatever..so the next time someone hosts another meet...the other ppl dont want to go bc of the turnout of the previous meet..blah blah...so instead of the constant negative attitudes and the constant questions..do this (suggestion):

1) hold your own regional meets so that its easier for ppl to go to..say SE 240 owners meet with each other..dont expect someone from the woodlands to go..and northside ppl do the same
2) hold the meets as many times as you want to
3)eventually all regional owners go to the main ones that are supposed to be held once a month...and dont do it at B and N (no offense to whoever wants it there...its a freakin parking lot...we usually hold it where everyone will go to say like hooters or at the track or whatever is more popular..i mean...wtf are you goin to do in the parking lots??? really its boring...pick a place where we can sit down and chat and afterwards...you can go race or show off your ride
4)Be aware of what time and where the meets are bc there maybe other meets going on..but on the flipside...you may also try to consider holding the meets the same time as the other ones are to get a good size crowd..most likely you may find other 240 owners that way
5) stop complaining and make some effort..the more negative reponses..the less ppl will be upset and dont *feel* like going...


so anyways..those were just suggestions based on what i have been seeing or hearing about the meets so dont take it the wrong way and come flaming at me.....and it helps to keep a mass email list of the owners bc thats how i find out when ppl are busy or not and if they can attend...if more than 10ppl RSVP me...then i post it up..if not...i wait
