i like that car but one thing really bothers me. guage choices. looks liek a car someone built for someone with money who just wanted cool guages. nice lack of a temp/oil press/egt guages. i guess knowing your a/f on an non-wideband guage and all the pretty colors is more important than driving without oil press/overheated/etc. that really bothers me.

You could put 10k into the body/suspension/brakes alone... and still not have gotten into the engine bay.

And thats presuming you found a straight good condition S30 chassis as a base, which are becoming rarer than gold shaped like hillary duffs ass.

I am not going to say that car does not look sweet, and the setup is very nice looking. but That poor Z needs it's inline 6 back. should have swapped it for a skyline 6.

what i cannot figure out is why they sat the SR20 so far back. Only reasons i can really get to come to mind is they wanted a super low center of gravity, and tucked it behind the crossmember for that reason, or two, they needed oil pan clearance cause perhaps the pickup sump was @ the front.

Makes the engine bay seem so empty.

Then again though, what does a stock 240sx w/ an SR20 weight? Z chassis, especially 240's, are lighter than hell, so it could be possible that an already proven motor is now powering an even lighter car.
