Aight, my brother is got a 90-93 integra. B18A1 still in it.

This is the story he told me, he was making a u-turn, and when he was making a u-turn he heard a "crack" type noise. Said, it sounded like a CV joint poped out of place and went back in. Is that possible?

So he replaced the CV joint for a new one. We installed it today, and still the same "clack" noise, this time i saw the it. It's like the tire gets stucks, and like twists into the back side of the fender. Like it gets so much tension in it, it pops back in place, and the rims goes back to the middle. Kinda like it was having to go over a big rock.

Any idea's on what it could be?

If we take it out, and tug on the inner side of the CV join, if it moves back and forth by like one or two inches it's no good right?

Also, to take out the tranny, i would have to take out all those some odd 20+ bolts, clutch cable, and the motor mount, and it should drop out? Or is there a hidden catch to just dropping it out?

gotta make sure the axle was put in all the way...if so, maybe you got a bad axle...if not, have your wheel bearings checked out

Ok, well for sure it's in there all the way. Done over 15 CV joint changes. And it's a new CV joint (not saying it could not be defective) I have to check the wheel bearing.

hey, at our shop, we had a acura legand do that every time it takes a sharp turn. the cv was really bad. it was fine after we changed it. maybe the new one is defective or wrong? but it's all about that cv

try put it on a jack stand or lift and tryin taking a sharp turn, see what happens

i'd check to be sure all of the suspension is put together correctly

i think it could possibly be the spider gears in the differential.
