As you can see we decided to add another forum to better promote the car scene. These rules are simple to follow. Please follow them so we can positively promote the car scene here in Houston and also abroad. Here are the basic rules:
1. Car Event Pics, Articles, News Links, etc. are only allowed in this forum.
2. Only positive posts are allowed. If you break this rule, you will be banned for 3 days. No questions asked !!!
3. The moderators for this forum will be people that can support this forum with articles, Car Event Pics, and so forth. I already have in mind a couple of moderators that are from other boards. If we see in the future we need more, then we will get some more mods.
4. No spamming. If you break this rule, you will be banned for 3 days. No questions asked !!!
5. No attacking other members or making comments with a double meaning. If you break this rule, you will be banned for 3 days. No questions asked !!! Also remember to keep it clean. This section after all is for fun and friendly debates, chats and what not.
6. No post whoring is allowed. There is a differences between debating and post whoring. Stay on topic and make your point.
7. Everyone is welcome to make a thread in this section. So feel free to post whatever you come across. Just please be careful of repost and old news. Also, please make interesting and relevant threads.
8. Be nice, we all have our own opinions, but be respectful towards one another. Example, a member had make fun of another member's deceased brother, not cool. If anything like this happens, you will receive an infraction. No questions asked !!!
9. No update/all new info goes here kind of thread. They just get so big and messy. An example is the Nissan GT-R Thread (Post all new GT-R info in here) (http://www.houston-imports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=435661). Just make a new thread people. It makes it easier to read and debate and whatnot.
10. Please try to use the format that we have been using.

Story/Article
With all the rumors and anticipation surrounding Toyota's joint venture with Subaru to produce a front-engine, rear-wheel drive coupe, the automaker's Supra successor has been put on the news cycle's back-burner. However, according to a report by Best Car, development has continued in earnest since the FT-HS Hybrid Sports Car Concept debuted at the Detroit Auto Show in 2007 and a prototype will supposedly begin making the rounds later this year.
Although the FT-HS was originally due to arrive in 2009, the Toyobaru's parallel development and market conditions have pushed back the introduction of a Supra-successor until 2011. When it hits, expect two versions to be available: a traditional gas-powered model, likely fitted with a 3.5-liter V6, and a hybrid "Sports" variant packing the GS450h's 2GR-VSE 3.5-liter V6 mated to the JDM Crown Hybrid's electric drive system and cranking out around 400 hp to the rear wheels. If Best Car's report is to be believed, we could see the next iteration of the FT-HS concept at the Tokyo Motor Show this November, with the production model debuting sometime in 2010 before its on-sale date the following year.
