Tranny question

I got my trans rebuilt and just got my car tues. Do you guys know and average rpm that the tranny supposed to switch from 1st to 2nd. It;s and auto and I think they set it a little high. It changes between 2500 and 3000, and i'm just pressing the gas just enough to where the car will go. Thanks in advance for your thoughts! :rock:

what car is it, mileage, and date of production? Almost all Auot trannies are different and work on different designs. Let me know and I'll see how I can help, BTW rebuild shops have about 50% sucess with trannies. Half of them work like they are supposed to, the others just don't realize how they are supposed to operate so they think the problem is normal.

try checking your transmission fluid and see if they refilled it..because if its empty ur rpms will be high..changing gears..

if you have a warranty, i would take it back there and have them redo it. i get my car back tonight from a rebuild....*crosses fingers*
