all i can say about the car is wow. took it down 75 and did boost tests to help tune the controller and this thing shot off pretty quickly. stomping it in 4th brought us to 120 before i knew what hit us.

boost hit hard in the low gears but it really shined in 3rd and 4th. a vast improvement over stock...the stock hairdryer sized turbo still pushes pretty hard...but its terribly inefficient in conclusion.

coulda taken her easily past 150 but i didnt want to run his car out of gas.

still got a little work to do before were done with it but overall a very fun experience.

alrighty, back to work.

What is the price on this upgrade? Just curious, I am going to be in the market for a new car after basic and I am considering a Turbo charged WRX.

www.turboxs.com should have all the basic details.

for pricing contact "i steal minivans" over AIM. he posts as gandhibrokemyskates.

its about $1200 retail per stage though

So by $1200 per stage, you are saying that the stage 3 cost $3600. What do you think that WRX can do in the 1/4 mile?

blah....save the money and just get the essentials. Full exhaust (downpipe, up-pipe, cutout to dump), engine management, boost controler (under 18psi) on stock turbo and pulleys.

Dont waste money on intake, and bov. Both are only good for sound.

With the mods in my sig I can hang with my 98 T/A that runs 13.2 all the way from 0-70 then he starts walkin away due to my car having no topend with the stock turbo. This would mean that I have to be in the 13.8 - 13.9 range.

No where near $3k in spending.

i agree.

friend has a full turboback, pulleys and relashed ecu and hit 13.5. o also has a clutch and 9lb flywheel.

turboback 750
vf30 550
uppipe - 200
injectors and pump - 300
utec 750

that will get you 12's. the 34 is a waste of money imo because they show it as not spooling noticeably faster than the 30 on a dyno

so Milin, when will your WRX be that fast? :D

Milin, I thought you were already a stg4? That should kill a stg3, especially in the top end.

My car is slow now. I blew the VF30.. so I'm on the stock turbo, with sti injectors, on my VF30 tune. I can't even build boost because it's so rich!
