they might need to be balanced properly...and if that's the case, make sure you have them ride matched too

Are your rims bent. Just a thought.

what's the tire pressure? maybe your balljoints, tie rods are shot.

motor mount gone bad, i guess
if your steering wheel wobbles at
-65mph + the wheels are unballance..
-55mph + the alignment needs to be done
-on braking, your brake rotors, pads are warped

Umm also... ever stopo to think that the rims are not resting on the hubs, like factory rims. If your rims do not the plastic rings in them that make them rest on the hubs the wheel can be off centered causing an eliptical path which would cause shaking. Go to Discount with your rims and ask to order hub centric rings for your rims, usually they have them in stock and are cheap. If your rims are resting on the hub then your rim could be bent.

:wrd: on the hubcentric rings if everything is balanced correctly.

Did you ever get it fixed?

I'm thinking it's a halfshaft(axle) related issue. Camry was having the same problem, shaking while accellerating. Took the wheel off and hit that fucker with a sledge hammer. Fixed it for about 2000mi

Could just be crappy tires

just an fyi folks, a bad alignment will never cause a vibration. unevenly worn tires will, but an alignment won't fix that. bad suspension components, tires, brakes, and axles are the main causes for a vibration.

could be a number of issues. on my previous honda accord it was a toe-in toe-out adjustment.

but
1. check your alignment
2. balance and rotate tires (ask for hubcentric rings)
3. check your toe-in toe-out (visible by uneven wear on tires e.g wear more on the inside than outside or vice versa)
4. motor mounts

you sir are dedicated, i used to try an help..but oh my god...

alignment vibrations? bad strut..... geez.. check the hubcentric, also check your wheel bearings, larger wheels will magnify certain drivetrain and suspension problems.. but seeing as too how its only while accelerating.. i'm gonna go with the hubcentric rings.
