bolt problem

OK, the front bolt that holds the front fork from sliding around, on one side the bolt goes in and out no problem but on the other the bolt has no "juice" to it. what i mean is the bolt is barly threaded into the nut. when i spin the bolt, the bolt and nut both spin together, when i hold the nut from moving the bolt spins and when i look into the nut the end of the bolt is spinning, for some reason it will not catch the nut to spin itself out.. :bawling: :bawling: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me get this fixed cause i need to change out that shock and i cant go anywhere to have it looked at casue the rear suspention is also all fucked up..
