need info on what u need when u get adjustable lowing springs

ok I am looking at getting ajustable lowing springs i dont need to no what kind to get just this what else do u need like i no u need an alignment or do u need a kit will it still be alignable becuase i was told u have to get something to make it possible to align were they wrong if so is that always going to be the case if u lower the car and if so what else do u need. to make everything complete correctly.
