ok so i have a MBC using the infamous grainger valve but my problem is that i puschased it from a guy who owned a dsm and he told me the spring would not go below 14 psi.
so that wus badness for me since boost cut is at 12 psi (until i get chipped that is :) ) but anywho so i wus handed down a much less stiffer spring the other day off a Hallman MBC that is not designed to go above 14psi which i thought wus good BUTTT now the highest it will boost is 8 psi with the valves nearly closed.....
and with the other spring it would easily reach its 12+ mark since everytime i jumped on the gas a split second later the cars scream VTEC and shut kill my car as if it hit a brick wall.....

so what I ask is this: is there a place i can go to get a spring and should i look for a certain strength or even part number to narrow my search or should i just do a feel test and find a spring more tense than the one i have now and less tense then the first spring???

i plan on going to sears and if time permits a hardware store but please someone help :( :( me need me boosty :(
