So I hooked up the boost controller like the manual tells me, but Im trying to set my boost to 10lbs. The stock spring on my wastegate is 6lbs. Can anyone tell me in which screen I set the boost in? Very confusing manual and screens. Thanks

Congrats, you have just purchased the most difficult boost controller to use.
The online manual explains it, but not very well. Honestly written words arent going to help you at all. It's going to take someone showing you. Remember that the settings are based upon the wastegate spring pressure. it's not the type where you put it at 10psi and it goes to 10psi it is based on the amount of increase needed per spring pressure.

Lol :roflmao: :roflmao:
Very good boost controller..but difficult to use at first.I've spent about 30-40 hours of dyno/freeway time on the spec 2.
On the basic settings, you have your gain, set boost and start boost.Gain is the boost controller solenoid valve duty cycle and is read as percentage, start boost is read in kg/cm if I remember correctly..it controls when the wastegate starts to open..used for quicker spooling...set boost is read as a percentage and is a combo of the total amount of boost the wastegate is capable of handling and the amount of boost the spec 2 is capable of controlling (2 bar).
It's not just as easy as setting it to 10 lbs and leaving it.You dont need to mess with the start boost though. You'll have to start off raising the set boost % and the gain together...raising one after the other is set, will raise boost.Setting the start boost too close to the set boost will cause spike.Setting the gain too high can cause boost to fluctuate up and down and cause spiking.
Once youve got it down, its a good boost controller.Takes awhile though.Esp. with internal wg's.
Let me know if you need anymore help with it. :thumb:

these are my settings i guess i'm not sure if it will help you much but i'll let you know what settings i'm using. i've got an internal wastegate as well and the spring is 8lbs. here goes:
gain: 16%
start boost: 5.8 lbs ( i changed my setting to read in lbs instead of kg/cm)
set boost: 18%
these settings get me to about 9.1lbs. and i still spike a little out to about 9.5lbs. i gotta mess with the gain a little bit.
