werd. look at the back of the brake pedal lever, there should be a little button that gets pushed in when the brake is not being pushed. if the brake lever isn't touching it, your lights won't go off. usually you can just adjust the button by loosing the little nuts on each side of the tab that the switch is connected to.

you want it to where when the pedal isn't being pushed in, the button is pushed in, and when the pedal is pushed in, the button isn't.

i believe you can adjust the switch but...if your lazy like i was try this lil trick...get a penny and some duct tape locate where exactly the button touches on the pedal and tape the penny to the pedal and ull have added space so that the pedal pushes back the button far enuff...add more pennies if you need more space..it worked for me :thumb:

This happened to me this week. The rubber gromet that goes in the pedal and is what pushes the button in when you are off the brakes disintegrated. So there was nothing there to push the button on the brake light switch. So I used some tape to cover up the hole where the rubber piece went so there is something there to push the button. Then the switch went out lastnight...what a bitch lol.
