before i get this done. Its a little bit of reading, but not too bad, help me out if you can.

Its going on a 1999 Ford Mustang V6, bone stock.

I would like to get 350hp to the wheel, I have a single turbo set-up, the turbo itself is a garett 30R, dual-ball bearing. I have a HKS BOV and intercooler, and a ford focus 300 pump, cobra injectors, and an SCT MAF. And obviously the turbo kit itself. The wastegate is set at 5.6 PSI.

Now my question is, what is the best route for me to go? This is going on a daily driver car, so what is the highest that I should boost? Realistically, what is the HP that I am looking at, remember this is going on a stock car. Should I spend the money and get a rear end? What are the other components do I need aside from a manual boost controller (if I am going to boost higher than 5.6), a boost, and fuel pressure (do i need this?) gauges?

Should I put a NX express Hitman series NOS kit on this car? If so, what is the highest shot I should put. My goal is to do one thing, when it goes on the dyno tune, I want to get the max HP that I can so that I can print it out, and display it (this is a show car, I am not interested in racing it constantly), so in my mind, if I just push the limit once to get the most power that I can, and just boost at 5.6 PSI at all other times, then is that fine? Thanks for reading this far, I need to know what I am doing by Monday. Thanks again.

wow sai. sounds nice, but are you asking wether you should go both?

To stay in a safe range on that stock motor, I would say stick to your 8-10 psi range. I can't remember what the exact specs on that v6 motor is, but i know that its not built the greatest.

As far as your rear end consist, the stronger you go, the more gas will go. I would only suggest changing the rear end, if you plan on getting some track time in as well. Cause not having a highway gear around here, and with the prices of gas is instant death.

And as far as your nx kit goes, get it for the hell of it. All show cars have a nitrous kit with some cool purge system for looks.

Personally i don't understand why you would spend all that money on a turbo kit for a v6 instead of swapping the motor.

You should talk to "st00pid" or someone that knows how to tune real good because tuning is the key to not blowing your motor or causing major damage to it.

I would consider building the motor first if you want to spray and turbo it, cause i don't see a stock v6 handling both.

nothing wrong with a big displacement V-6.

v8's are not the only motor for mustangs. Plenty of built v6's that run awsome numbers. Besides, hes building for show, with a little go.

i have looked into the swap, and it is too expensive of a project, almost 8-10 thousand for a complete swap, the right way. like he said ^ its a show car, with a little power to back it up. I was told to stick around the 6psi range, and be happy with 300hp. I was also told NOT to have a nitrous kit, said that's too much for the engine. I was interested in doing it for show purposes, with a nice purge kit. It is a daily driver after all.

Just depends on the shot you buy. A smaller shot won't hurt.

for 5k than you can put you turbo and a 100 shot will make over 400 whp
v6 135whp stock with turbo 225whp at 10psi and any nos over 50shot will blow the motor so swap or you want a show car its cool you want to run swap lol just giving you my imput

dont mess with the 6. you WILL split the block, end of story.

im a mod on turbomustangs.com and i think i recall you asking these questions. you need to read the turbo bible over there a couple of times to be sure about what you want instead of picking preset levels with no real world experience.

no, just a show car, no point in running this. i think at this point, i am just going to install it, get moderate power, and leave it at that.
