i have found a couple sites who actually were nice enough to share that kind of info. i have one off the following link: http://www.xenocron.com/bins/index.php?&direction=0&order=&directory=Uberdata i can understand if i was trying to make money off it. some people like to help other people and not be greedy. money isnt everything. i wish the world did not revole around money. if anyone feels they can help me please let me know through pm or on this thread. i would appreciate it

Do you need the bin for a certain rom editor or is it going straight to the burner?

If you have uberdata, why not just tune the car? I have several .bins for a 11.5:1 motor and Im pretty sure none of them will run your car worth a crap. go make an omelette.

It takes time to come up with the basemaps, people usally give crap ones out. Theres not too many people on here that know what they are doin except for like 6 people that i know of, one above me. Go to www.pgmfi.org and hop on the forums, people post pretty good tunes, that can be very close to what you need, not to mention they wont give you no "mugen" bullshit with no sensors being active. Most bins are Uberdata or Chrome based. Have fun.

People would rather pay little now, and pay way more later when they blow there crap up. Nothing substitutes some wideband dyno tuning.

nobody said i wasnt gonna tune it. i need it as a basemap. i have a wideband. and tuning equipment.

If you have tuning equipment and a wideband, should you be able to make your own basemap?

yes. but its faster if you already have one and go from there.

This is a perfect example of why NOT to download freeware programs and do any tuning unless you know what you are doing. Loading a basemap is just as important as a good tune.
If this is the 1st start of the car since a build or rebuild, a wideband and the ability to change the map are the most critical. You cant idle too rich, will wash out the walls. Cant run too lean, will detonate and cause some nice piston carnage. Rings need to seat properly and if not done in the 1st 5 minutes then might as well rebuild the motor.

no i bought the car built. i am diagnosing the problems and trying to tune it. they ran the motor untuned on a gsr ecu.

If the engine is still on stock bore and stroke,I would start with the stock gsr map as a base.

the motor had a slight knock. with a type r program from a friends car it ran great with no knock or anything and no codes. i use my stock p28 and retard the timing and the kncok goes away. before i came to the result its timing thats making the car knock i had pulled the panand checked all my clearances and bearings. it has je pistons and crower rods as stated in bill of sale. (thats was another reason for pulling the pan in order to make sure they were really in there) also with my p28 the coolant temp sensor cel throws, but with my friends type r program i have no cel's or any engine noise.
i wanted to ask is the knock sensor required with ls/vtec or is it better be be dissabled? whats the advantages and dis- of dissabling knock

i aint no tuner or anything but if youre a tuner or know how to, you suppose know the parameter and able to fix it from a base map. iono if ppl here would able to virtually explain on how to tinker(trial and error) ur mapping to suits ur hardwares.
the knock sensor is needed for that vtec.
i think that silverbeast dude is a tuner, he might be able to pin point a relative parameter to fix ur problem.
