Quick ex gauge cluster question

On the back of a ex civic gauge cluster theres 1 gray clip on the leftside and one on the right side...theres also the yellow one on the bottom but what does the green one do? I dont have a green clip to put in to the green socket...

what does the green socket do?

Its probably for automatic. On an Integra, there's 4 clip holders, but only 3 are used by cars I've examined (manual). You plug the fourth in there for the PRND321 column.
