I was thinking of getting the KYB AGXs and some tein s-techs. i was just wondering what kind of ride this gives you (how stiff and what not).

just my opinion, but if ur concerned about the ride feel/height/stiffness/etc. wouldn't it be safer to get coilovers? (yes i know they are expensive, but if you change ur setup alot it might cost more)

very very mild ride, close to stock, but better roll control. team that setup with some good aftermarket sway bars, and you'l lhave a great handling, and riding, ride.

another good spring choice would be the Whitelines

Same here I got the S-Techs sitting in my garage, I'm getting the AGX's in about a month. If I can find RS-R race springs cheap I might go with those :thumb:

AGXs = flexible & cheap :D

I've used them before and I loved being able to control my ride from street to auto-x w/just a little turn.

Yeah i found a pretty good deal on some rs*r springs so i think im going to get those instead of the s techs. $180 for rs*rs and $400 for AGXs? good deal? its the best i've found so far.

seriously... 150% i promise you... save up and skip the KYB and all that nonsense.. I HAD the KYB AGX and Tein S-tech combo... its rather horrible... Save up a tiny bit and get SPL's KTS 16way adjustable coilover.. makes ALOT of differences and you will thank yourself for not spending money 2x, stick to your guns and save... I believe for locals if you pick them up there... they are like 1150 shipped. I seriously think you should wait and get those, you will thank me for it.

For brand new KYB AGX's and Teins your going to spend around 500ish on the part alone.... save up that tiny bit more and get the coilovers.....

ALSO, the KYB and Tein combo... has alot of flex / play in the actual shock... mine were brand new when i bought them and when i hit bumps or whatever in the road.. it took tooooo long to "bounce back" and with the coilovers its bump and BOOM your back to your ride... not and bouncing around.

I've always had good experience with KYB AGX. You just had a bunk set.

rs*r and agx combo is probably the best shock/spring combo out there. unless you're a wuss

why yes, how can i forget about koni. but when you're paying much for shocks, might as well buy coilovers. koni are great shocks, i have these on my daily driver.

Haha, as long as they are the Koni's that you can adjust without taking them off the car. What a dumb idea.
