I need help on what to do for a non power window to POWER window swap. I want to buy type R door panels and the panels come with the switches wires and motor but what else needs to be done to run it to the bettery or give the wondow motor power? Any help would be appreciated!

you need the regulators and motors that fit your doors.

Wire, wiring diagrams, soldering gun, heat shrink, and a relay. Ive done 3 conversions in the past 2 months. Just got to be able to read wiring diagrams. Hit me up if you need help.

well if you want i got a comp program at my shop that can print out the wiring diagram for the power windows

the diagram would be helpful,, do any of you know how much the regulators and or motors would cost?

new you're lookin at a arm and a leg.
used from a junkyard......probably like 80-100 for a pair maybe more maybe less

but to be more specific about the "new" part abut 2 bills a door for the motor alone.... :-/ so yea, just buy it used lol

not to hijack your thread but is there anyone out there ya'll recommend to take something like this to to get it done? i have my power window stuff just sitting around collectin dust :-/

I did my conversion on my 94 civic. never done one on a 96+ though
