down pipe question for sr

ok, wanting to run the gt30r but having trouble finding out if it will bolt up to the hks down pipe...

well if the turbine outlet requires a different flange, the downpipe can be modified with the correct flange. I don't know much about the GT30R in particular, tho

and ill say that you need to get the damn sr first. personally i say go wit the RSR downpipe because its a one piece design that connects to the turbo and then plumbs to the exhaust for only 125 so if you upgrade the turbo i wouldnt feel bad about welding on a new flange

if you don't want to deal with modifying a downpipe, or making a custom one, HKS has a version of a GT3071R that uses their exhaust housing to bolt to their downpipe.

and it also depends on what exhaust housing bolt pattern you get. Some companies such as RSR make 5 bolt downpipes that replace the elbow from the turbo and makes a one peice 3" unit. this is what im going with on my sr until i get a larger turbo :)
