dash lights not working

i been havin dis problem for quite some time but it started out with my gauge lights n my instrument panel lights...they would start dim n slowly get brighter until one day they just stopped workin...so i can't see how fast im goin...all fuses are ok n everything still connected...any other ideas?

there are little light bulbs behind the gauges...there are screws holding the plastic cover that protects the instrument panel...if you have a haynes manual it will show you where the screws are...what kind of car is it??? i tried getting those lights from autozone and o'reily and u cant get them...had to go to the honda dealer for mine

it's a 99 accord...i checked some of the bulbs n they are fine...but im guessin it could just be some wiring...

I looked at the bulbs i had and they "looked" fine but i switch postions with lights that i knew worked...and thats the way i found out
