I have a ls/vtec motor and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to wire up the vtec to the ecu harness..I do know 2 wires go in the a4 and d6 pinout but if i have knock on my ecu where do i wire that up? I know the knock is d3 on the pinout but where do i connect it to on my motor? does it have to be wired up on a ls block for vtec to engage? where is the ground wire on the vtec? is it the black wire on the oil pressure switch? do i ground it to my thermostat housing?

Most LS blocks do not have knock sensors. You should use a p28 ecu, which has no knock board.
If the ecu has a knock board, you will need to wire in knock.
The ground wire for vtec is at the 2 pin perssure switch on the solenoid assembly. It grounds to the thermostat housing.

where do I wire up knock if the ls block does not have one?
is it possible to remove the knock board? the ecu is chipped already but im not sure if they removed knock like i asked.

install and check for a code for knock if you get one then we can work on that
