blink blink

When im driving my car (stock eg hatch) at night, everytime i put on the left blinker, all the dash lights blink off for a split second. The guages and climate control lights blink. it never does it for the right blinker or flashers. has this ever happened to anyone else, and if so, what can i do to fix it?

Possible break in the wiring, get some wiring diagrams and check your circuits.
