I am wanting to lower my g/f's 02 Honda Accord V6 and i wus gonna go for eibach pro's or sportlines, but i just found some Skunk Coilovers for a nice price and was wondering what kind of opinions you guys have about them or if anyone has had experience with this brand suspension wise.....

I just like them since they are adjustable and since we will be lightly modding the car in the future.... :eekbunny:

p.s. sarcasm not wanted but expected

Skunk2's are nice, but is she planning to slam or she just wants a drop, and decent ride quality? I'm guessing she maybe wants to lessen the wheel gap, she should go with the eibach or sportlines, they probably ride better than the skunk2 coils, I had the skunk2 coils on my car a while back, the ride get's kinda annoying if it's daily driven.

Great info, that wus the main advice i wus looking for, since i know she would hate a bouncy ride (hell she hates my car ever since it got solid urethane mounts) so i guess sportlines for serious "drop" or just eibach pro's to lower fender gap, all in all it will most likely be a simple yet clean car on 17's with a lip and jsut I/H/E and a 50-75 shot on her j30 since i hear too much that those j30's are not worth fixing up :(

get the skunk2 coils w/ tokico alluminas. that way you can drop/rise/whatever hight mood you want your car to be in. :thumb:

tokico alluminas also offer a much better ride having the 5 way adjustable ride quality.

I used to have Skunk2's and I would not reccomend them, they ride very bouncy...you will get tired of it.

Sportlines are Ok but you must get have a good strut to go with it. I have them with OEM struts in which they were good for a few months then gradually, they get WAYYYY too soft and when you hit respectable bumps, OUCH! Mine were used from the beg. when I bought them so they may be better for more then a few months. I think overall, those springs have at least 50,000 miles and they are still a respectable ride but I cant stand it no more.

But overall, its probably what she is looking for.

i have skunk2 coils. they will be bouncy if you get some crappy shocks. if you buy some nice shocks with it, like the kyb agx, they will feel really good.

i have skunk2 coilovers on koni yellow adjustable shocks, they feel awesome :thumb: but i like really stiff suspension. my daily driver suspension is stiffer than some weekend race-car suspensions
