My friend has done it on a '93 honda accord. Its pretty straight forward, all you need is the tranny(duh), the pedals, and te slave and master cylinders. not to mention a lot of free time if yoiu wanna get it right. Most cars(civic included) are set up to be manual already, the factory just plugs the hole where the clutch gos. I have seen some marks using the clutch hole as a grommet, in that case you would have to put a hole in you firewall to move the wires to.
Hope this helped.

uhhhh kinda sorta. one more question and/or concern. will i have to cut anything? checked on other boards and there is a how-to on honda-tech. and on there it said they had to cut around the automatic shifter ti put in the manual shifter. is this a must or no?
