its what 3500 or so for the supercharger, add 500 for the extras, 500 install or so

I thought Alpine Developments only made a SC for it? I don't really keep up with Tibbys anymore...

check out the new (may 05) HCI magazine on page 52 a company by the name of RIPP Modifictaions has desined a kit using the vortec supercharger and alot of custom parts.

vortec does not make a kit for the tiburon so if your wanting to use a vortec supercharger then you will have to go threw these guys also you can chek out the web site at www.rippmods.com they have 2 stages stg 1 and stg 2

this kit will not be cheap tho but good luck and hope to see you on the street. by the way the tibuons
stage 1 kit made 335 hp and
stage 2 kit made 371 hp

JP, rippmod makes a bad ass supercharger for the 3g eclipse, its what I wanted to do for the longest time. From what Ive read and heard, and even spoke with one person that had one, they are everything the company advertises

But, if that car were my car, and I wanted to modify it, I would do the usual ricer stuff, intake, if rippmods makes headers for your car, and exhaust before I messed around with getting the supercharger. Just my 2 pennys.

i would get a second car to mod and leave the Tiburon bone stock as a pretty nice car to have as a daily driver.

alpine only made 193 hp 173 tq at 4 psi and thats there good kit "Preliminary dyno runs on our new liquid-to-air intercooled supercharger kit for the 2.7L V-6 adds 47.7HP & 40ft/lbs of torque at just a little over 4lbs/psi of boost"
http://www.alpine-developments.co.za/hyundai_tiburon_2.7.htm
RIPP stage 2 made 311 hp 253 tq fully tuned on a dyno and 269.3WHP 233LB/FT untuned at 8 psi. i think the extra 700$ over the alpine is worth it
