If you are turbo and running off downpipe or O2 or whatever your turbo will spool up a lot quicker than with a full exhaust especially if you have a restrictive cat. For n/a less restriction equals better flow of exhaust gases, so if you're running off a header then you will gain some hp due to better flow.

i do agree with everyone else in that you would gain more horsepower on the top end, but you might lose some torque off the low end. it really depends on if the gained horespower is worth the lost torque. this is true only for naturally aspirated though. if you're boosted just drop it. just thought i'd voice my freedom to speak.:D

i know im kinda off subject but....
what if i boosting my integra with exhaust and 3" piping without high flow cat
will it be a big difference?
is it really needed
cause i am really broke cant much afford the cat converter
