i would like to use my fwd DSM for Auto-X what suspension mods do i need since im becoming a noob at this....(drag racing is old)

If you want to be able to drive everyday COMFORTABLY, and tear it up at AUTO-X I recommend:

KYB AGX shocks: For your car, I believe the front are 4 way adjustable, rear are 8 way adjustable. 1 = softer, 4 & 8 = stiffest

Ground Control Coilovers: Pick your own spring rates. 340 Front and 230ish rear was comfortable on my 95 Teg. I don't like it bouncy, this was NOT. I don't like a harsh ride... it was right in the middle, but you did have to slow down for BUMPS!

PRO'S:
TUNE your own suspension w/adjustable dampening up to 8-way
LOWER your car as much as you want 0-4"!!!

CON'S:
You'll spend at least $600.00 TOTAL (NOT BAD!!!!) and you'll never need another set up again unless you are going FULL RACE.

SHOCKS = $90+ each
COILOVERS = 225+

wow i dont know where you pulled those prices. retail is way more than that.

if you wanna do it right the 1st time, and not have to research crap, just buy some nice adjustable FULL (shocks/springs) coilovers for your car. youll also need a camber kit. probably want a front mount as well. the sidemount on your car heatsoaks really badly.
