Dude that has the boyfriend with the Type R… I don’t have a racecar therefore I don’t race racecars; however, I do have friends (believe it or not) that do have racecars. So hit me up and we can match some Racecars up with other Racecars. Street / Strip, pump gas / race gas… It’s all good..

I thought someone else said they have a GT also? If so lets do it.

OK I am here to clarify something....

Mark Hamilton is a liar. He paced us and just for fun I chirped the tires in second next to him. Little did I know he was waiting for just that to signal a race.

YES I jumped out ahead of him, must have been my awesome 150ft lbs of torque that made me pull him through until third. Oh yes and Wally in the WRX was in front of us both, that is until Kurt pulled up. As far as racing him again, no I am sorry that didn't happen.

Is the Lightening capable of outpulling us YES, did he do it...NO! Would he have passed me, MOST LIKELY. I am not shittalking here, just stating facts.

Oh and on a final note, yes my prelude might be a piece of shit, in fact it is so much of a piece of shit that I own three of them. Oh and it is quite possible that my pieces of shit (3 of them just to recap) retain a far better value than a God Almighty Lightening. In fact each one of my pieces of shit may not outlast a DURABLE VEHICLE like the Lightening.

God forbid my tuner knows what he is building and tuning. Oh yeah and this one will not be stripped like the Blue Prelude was,I might even be fair and put the dash back in JACKASS!

Last thing, take a closer look next time. You might be suprised to see that a basically stock Prelude (exception of an Apexi N1 catback) can outpull you in 2nd and 3rd. Oh yeah and an ALL STOCK WRX can outpull you, oh my goodness EVEN MORE than the Prelude did. It might be you don't have a clue how to drive an AUTOMATIC truck like yours, or the load in the back was too heavy. I certainly know that the load you wrote for your friend to post here may have been just as heavy as your truck and cargo combined.

....Well I dont know the whole story here.....And I havent raced a lightening in fear of being walked like no other....BUT a buddy of mine with an S2K (just intake) messed with one on the freeway and managed to stay infront....and I can take my friends S2K...I dunno though.....The lightening also looked kinda ghetto...prolly wasnt running right....or maybe the SC just doesnt like high speeds :confused:

And SexualChocolate. The Lightning's resale values would suprise you. They make less the 5000 of them every year. They hold there value very well. As for your car outlasting one. I imagine any forced induction vehicle that makes 380hp and 450 ft. lbs. of torque and is raced often would not last as long as your stock Honda. Just my .02 :thumb:

Yes 5.4L V8 with a eaton supercharger. They weigh nearly 5000 lbs. and run 13's stock. I run 13's stock with 20's. The trucks haul ass, the best part of a Lightnings race is not at the top end. Watch almost any race between a L and a f-body or mustang and you will see the car start pulling on the L at the end.

The wheels in the pictures are replicas of the stock 18" rims but they are chrome and 20's. The truck now has a 2# lower pully, elecrtic fan and cold air intake.

That remains to be seen. Either way, what difference does it make if you can outpull one in those gears if your looking at my tailights? A stock prelude does not run 13's.

it's easy for a prelude to out pull a lightning from a roll. Lightnings do all their accel in the 1/8th. after that they, accel much slower than most other cars that run those times or slower even. The prelude is a beast on the Hwy. My car ran a 14.7 in the 1/4 off nitrous, but on the hwy, a stock prelude that runs no faster than mid 15's would eat me alive, usually by about 5-6 lengths up to 120 or so, then i'd usually get aggravated and hit the gas, lol.

The Lightning I ran from a roll didn't exactly quit pulling...........at all. Me and the L went from a 70(we were on the beltway feeder) and his front bumper stuck right by my rear the whole damn time, maybe 6 inches closer, but right around there. We ran to about 120-125. I forgot how much boost he said he was running, but it was about double mine. From a roll, and when I drive the damn car right, I'm slightly faster than Orlando. I got killed bad from a roll though, and he launched at a very low RPM:cry:

I had two other peoplein the car though, I MIGHT have pulled him a little more. We all know these damn 4 bangers hate extra weight.

Nothing from me is taken personally. The fact is that I don't like people manipulating the truth. This whole thread stemmed from the fact that some guy in a Lightening lied about what actually happened. I told the truth, simple as that. Never did I mention that my car is God like and fast as hell.
