Alot of people have a hard time believing that anyone could ever beat a bike since their car couldn't ever do it. Most people also don't realize that some of the slowest sport bikes run mid 12's and faster. If you have a car that runs anywhere from mid 12's all the way to 9's and faster, you could beat a bike if you find the right one.

I am sure the BS was directed towards me... but I can assure you that my car has an aftermarket part or two.. :roflmao:

Right... even though I gathered my information directly off Zangel's website....

My point is, the average "sport bike" on the street dosen't run 12's. They are more capable of 10-11's stock without any aftermarket parts. Either way, your "12 second" Pink Camaro dosen't stand a chance to most bikes on the street. For about half of what you paid for your Pink Camaro ($21 +parts?), you can pickup one of these bikes brand new. No need to piss and moan about it...

Until then, keep on racin these guys

BTW- My "pink Camaro" (which is actually called Cheyenne Red) cost $12k.... but I guess you could say somewhere around 20k with the mods! :hit:

If you READ the right hand side of the screen you will notice it says, "No ET's since head/cam install"
"Best 1/4 Time:12.72 @ 107.32 MPH" "Best 1/8 Time:8.00 @ 89.14 MPH"
"These times were with 2:73 gears and on radials. This was also done before the heads/cam/intake were installed!"

Okay, now with that information given and I straight up told you what all I added (it is listed on the left hand side of the screen) since those times... do you still not understand? That site was also put up about 2 years ago... alot has changed since then but you still go on disbelieving! Good luck and with that frame of mind you better keep your money out of racing!

I changed the mods and didn't feel like messing with the site anymore or updating anything... so I just let it go. I have to remember to take it down now. Thanks for the reminder! :thumb:

I find her story quite believable. I raced a bike from a 30 roll when my car was STOCK and was right next to him until 90, when I shifted and put half a car on him.

Me to, I raced a bike in my cobra about a week ago on Hwy 6 and he couldnt get passed my door all the way up to about 90 from a stop. Bad rider+older 600=slow!! Im sure Zangel could beat alot of bikes out there.

How do you know what I run? Sure most big cc bikes are faster but for all you know I could be a 9, 10, 11, 12 second car and so on... For all you know I could have taken the motor I had before and replaced it with a 383, 409, 422, and so forth... How do you know I didn't turn around and put a 100, 200, or 300 shot on the car on top of that? How do you know that I didn't remove all uneeded weight and now have a car that weights 3000, 3100, 3200lbs? I could have gone with a huge stall, high gears, and so forth... You should never assume anything! Yeah, I could be a 12 second car.. but maybe not! Until you actually see the car and under the hood (which you won't)... I would never make a guess because most likely you will guess wrong! Just my .02! :D

Exactly, I've raced 4 bikes including my friends GSXR 750 (older) and have taken all of them off the line. 3 of them including my friends GSXR caught me quick and smoked my ass but that older 600 I raced couldnt catch me and I dont think would have caught me threw the 1/4 mile. Probably with a better rider could have beat me, but after the 1/4 he surely would heve went by me. :cry: :D

bike's are easy to beat on the hwy. they're not for top end at all. most bikes will struggle to get above 150. i've seen many many many modded cars that will eat a bike alive from 80-150. don't get me wrong, it's not THAT easy to do, but it's far from impossible.

I raced the bike from almost a dead stop. My car loves 0-130... after that initial quarter mile it begins to fall off because that is what my car is set up for.

Something else to add....after a bike gets past 100mph...a car is faster...but the race may be almost over by that time....if you can hang with him till he/she gets to 100 then you gotta really good shot.
