i recently put a new slave and master cylinder on my car(2-3months).
everything worked fine.....now though it has trouble going into gear.
should i bleed it or what?
initial what?

try bleeding and adjusting your clutch pedal. if not then you might have bad synch's. what gear do you have problems with and does it grind or just hard to put in?
are the lines leaking? did the master cyl resevior level go down? re-bleeding would be good, ive got a vacuum pump if you wanna use it

i did bleed the clutch this morning but i didn't get any more pedal feel...the clutch pedal is visibly closer to the floor than normal.
i dont think the lines are leaking and my resevoir level is full. i have a new master and slave cylinder on it.......this car frustrates me
you sure you bled it right?

You have to hold it to the floor completely and don't let up at all, keep the foot planted until the bleeder screw is tight then release pedal. You can also gravity bleed it overnight. Take a bottle flip it upside down onto the resivoir and open the bleeder screw. I don't recommend this, but it works on some cars. All else fails, PM me and I'll go further.

Ok, better question for CBR_TOY. When does it not go into gear, and how do you go about getting it into gear. Answer that and I can pinpoint more accurately if it's hydraulic or meachanical problem.

have you tried to adjust the clutch pedal yet? take a look at how the clutch pedal is set up and adjust it to have more height.
have you checked your fluid level in the transmission?

oh dang, i just looked at the date.
you should post up how you figured out what the problem was, just to help out anyone else doing a search with the same problem.

it was stupid.....the bolt on the master cylinder rod that connects to the pedal was loose and caused the the pedal to fall closer to the floor which in turn made the clutch not engage all the way and cause me to not go into gear easily
