go to a lot of the discount tires and ask them if you can look at their scrap tires. sometimes they got some sizes. on emore thing you can do is if you find a good tire even if t's not your size take it for free and sell it.
that's my plan but i'm gonna start selling the tires pretty soon hopefully!
initial what?

If you are paying for used drift tires then most likely you are getting ripped off

what I normally do (50 tires in < 4 months) is go to discount/wherever, get used tires for free. go to used tire shop, trade and negotate to buy a bunch of used tires.

hey when you do find a lot of tires make sure you know somebody that knows how to mount them. for cheap or even free. it's useless if you find cheap tires but are paying full prices to get them mounted. use the money you save with mounting and spend more on tires. :thumb:

even though seeing yoru in sugarland im ssure there are a lot of places you can get a shitload of tires from , for free, if you actually put forth a extremely tiny amount of effort.

Would you guys recommend getting a nice, new set of tires and wheels for daily duty, then a used set on steelies or something for drifting?
My friends and I might have a project car, and I was thinking of going that route. I've heard Azenis are good and pretty cheap(14s are $46 each online), so those might be the daily tires.

Maybe I should have been more clear:
I want tires in the best possible condition for daily driving. Safety is key. If an emergency comes up, I don't want to have to rely on tires that are already worn and stressed by someone else. It's just my opinion. :dunno:
For drift duty, used tires isn't as big a deal imho, because I'd be off the street. Lives(at least other than my own) shouldn't be in jeopardy because I decided to get some cheap tires.
That's why I'd want two sets. Not to mention I'd want nice wheels for daily duty, then some steelies for drifting, so that the nice ones won't get messed up in an accident.
Daily driving, a near-essential part of life, is an area where I want to spend money. Drifting, a leisure activity, would be an area where I'd like to save as much money as possible.
