Me and some friends used to go watch the cops learn driving manuevers in the parking lot at the Dell Diamond lol. That badge doesn't mean they know how to drive very well, thats for damn sure lol. There were a few that obviously have done some crazy shit in a car before cause they looked like pros lol.

bullshit they aren't, my friend's dad used to drive a camaro SS with an LS1 in it. before that he drove a foxbody 5.0, both sticks. good lord that looked fun, holy shit i wanna be a CHP trooper now.

youve never seen a 5 speed mustang? a lot the ssp mustangs were 5speed, the owner of dailydrifter has one.

those are cop cars, but the only thing i see is extra safety equipment. other than that i see are some b4c and ssp cars with cages for training.

My dad had a caprice well it was really an ss impala, but they never made the ss in white, so the took a caprice, put all the ss guts in it, and boyah you got a impala thats white, the thing out ran the traffic enforcement camaros of the time, and my dad can personaly vouch for 150+ in it. he said it was a beast of a car the thing had a lt1 or ls1 i dont know my chevy motors too well

yeah but I thought all the cop cars got the 5 spd. As for the caprices I dunno I showed the video to my friend his dad drives an older impala SS, is the one that told me that it didn't come like that in police package.

impala ss =/= police package but they are kinda similar as far as drivetrain/suspension vs the regular caprice.

the ssp mustangs were mix of auto-manual as far as i know

ive personally never seen an auto b4c camaro. but im not saying they dont exist, i dont know.

Damn that would be badass to have a fox body 5 spd 5.0 and a badge. Its not the greatest car ever built but you could drive it fast with authority and immunity.

oh all I've seen are autos also. In fact I remember reading an article about them and I believe it specifically mentioned that they were all autos. I remember that same article I think they ran a 5.8 0-60 fully equipped.

b4c also has suspension work an a stock oil cooler, i'm sure it has motor mods too.

ris4drift, I have no idea what the heck you are trying to say with that post. Yes, they did run a 5.8 as tested in that magazine. And yes, the article did say that all police package camaros had the auto. I don't have a copy with me, and I can't make you believe me. but, whatever.

id be willing to bet that is a drift team practicing. i seriously doubt CHP learns to do 360's to show off during a chase with an arm out the window waving to pedestrians.

i figured they came in auto. but all the ones i have seen auto-x ing are 5speed, so they had both.
