Cable to Hydro Tranny Questions

Had a question. Got someone wanting to do a cable to hydro tranny conversion on a B16a tranny. He plans to use the Hasport kit but one vendor is saying that he has to use the supplied Hasport tranny mount and not the stock 94 Integra mounts for this to work. It doesn't sound right to me and I don't want him to waste money on mounts not needed. Anyone got some info for me, post it here or e-mail me. Thanks.

this will be going into a 92-95 civic.

Hmmm. I've heard the mounting position on the new B-series motor is different than that of a 4th gen Civic.. I think we better wait til SecretAgent or St00pid to answer this one..

HASport is correct. The Cable tranny mounting holes on the transmission are different than those on the hydro transmission. Therefor, you need the HASport mount to make it all fit correctly.

Okay, but will we need the complete mount kit or just the kit with the tranny mount?
