Calvin Wan's Falken car!!!!!!

hey what's up guys. i had a great time time at the showoff car show. I went to the falken boofth like 8 times and stayed about 15 min. each time. I just started messing with some of the Falkne guys and was asking if they can sponsor me. He was all cool about it and said "if you're good enough we might consider it" he also told me about the new drift cars that their coming out with next year.- 2 2005 mustangs and a g35. now that's pretty crazy. i asked him if i can have one of the s13's. he just started laughing.

finally i asked him if could sit calvin car's . he paused for a little bit and then seen my sad face and was like okay. it was funny when i was getting in(i had a hard time b/c of the roll cage and i'm about 6 2") one of the other falken guys came running towards me like he was gonna do something. When i was in the car it felt like home. The interior felt so perfect. The seat was the right height, the steering wheel was perfect, i was in aawwww. i was kinda scared getting out b/c i didn't wanna brake the side skirts with my foot

im 6'6 i tried to fit in an s13 with momo seats.....i had to be pulled out. not the best feeling ever

but i think i'm sold, i'm gonna get a cusco 6pt. roll cage, sparco competition seats(sprint i think), and a sparco sterring wheel and hub :rock:

I don't suggest a Cusco cage... they are not structurally strong in my opinion. If you do get it... please please weld it along with bolting it in. I also wonder if the person that thought to design a 90 deg. bend in the front supports was smoking large amounts of heavily laced crack.

Anyways, that's cool that you got to sit inside. Did you read the letter that it said on the inner roof of his car? That was soo #*%#ing hilarious. It had the script for the Champ Car Exhibition at Laguna Seca. It said something about burning tires and waving at crowd and catching chick's bras...

The Falken guys were soo cool, my brand of tires is now Falken.

I'm glad that you found out about this, but Kalvin wouldn't tell me. He told me he was under a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) until SEMA. Well now I don't have to goto SEMA to find out. :) Thanks dude. You rock!

BTW, I'm going to SEMA anyways. :)

i didn't read the letter, i didn't even look up. i didn't know calvin was there. the guy running after me wasn't calvin. when i got out i was saying to myself man i should've stayed in there longer.. yeah i don't he was suppose to tell me about the cars. and i don't think i was suppose to tell everybody in h-town about about em either :kekegay:

for the record, go to drifting.com in the "ask xxxx driver somthing thread" thats where craftsman gets all these "conversations" with FD drivers. he has never come to a drift event here. he has never drifted at an event. one the local drifters offered to let craftsman drive his car after he ran his mouth about getting sponsored by kei office. craftsman was a no show. dont believe everythign people say they are over the internet.


also falken is donig 2 mustangs and a g35c next year? it will be interesting to see whos drivign what / who they sign to drive them.
