What's the point in "Drifting" rims?
You don't really need special rims to DORIFTO!1...
All they are, are crazy JDM hotness rims....nothing more.

What is the difference? I think lightweight wheels are the best plan... Volk Forged wheels are prolly the best way to go...
You want alot of unsprung weight which is equal to more than sprung weight. For every pound you save on your unsprung parts, you save an estimated amount of 2 - 3 lbs. In other words, using lightweight parts on your wheels and tires not only makes your car accelerate faster because you have less inertia, but it also makes your car act like a much lighter car.
In drifting, my opinion is lighter is better for quicker response.
Matt.

i think my favorite light-weight wheels are the 5zigen fnco1'r or what ever they're called.
they look so crazy in like 17x10 w/ a low offset like 15

watanabe GPs r nice!! my conculsion, the smaller the wheels the cheaper the drift.. cause small size wheels's tires are cheap and big wheels with lo-pros are crazy expensive!
my opinion... :thumb:
