Whats up guys? Well every time I wash my car, I end up waxing the hell out of it. But when Im done, its has that swirly stuff you can see in the paint. Also, when the sun his it, it sort of give off a sort of haze look. But when you guys take a picture you yalls show cars, the paint looks freaking bad ass! Much props:thumb: But anyways, I was up late at night and I saw that Mother wax has some wax that is a 3 and 1 thing. One to remove scatches, swirly marks and then give it the gloss or whatever those 3 things do. But how would I get my paint to shine without all that hazy finish and swirly marks all over it? Im not using that cheap ass wax, its cost about 11 bucks or so. So I guess thats what im asking. Also, is it better to wax by hand or wax by buying one of those BUFFERS? I dunno if my dads on crack but he said that if I use those buffers, I can fuck up my clear coat or some shit. So I dunno, let me know. Thanks for reading...Holla back!

A circular buffer that is in the hands of someone who does not know how to use it will take your clear coat off. Sears has one that oscilates (back and forth and circular at the same time) that is safer to use and more efficient. Don't buy a polish that has three in one type of use because they usually don't work out. Try the Meguiars 3 step program. I think they have some of the best stuff out there.. but that is just my opinion. Rubbing compound will also take out your swirl marks. Also don't wax your car in the sun. That will definately create swirl marks. Keep it in shade, don't apply a thick coat, and take as long as neccessary. Do each part of your car one at a time ie hood wax on, wax off, right fender wax on wax off, left fender wax on, wax off and... well you get the idea. A rush wax job on your car is like blue balls, you try to get there but don't. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Clay bar does work but not as good as it should with swirl marks already on the car. It is a great product though...

Yeah I heard that those clay bars go pretty hard in tha paint! But I dont wax it in the sun, its just when im done and the car hits the sun, thats when it looks hazy if you look at the car at a certain angle. Hey, should I apply the wax and then take it off. Do I let it dry?.. because what really pisses me off is that I let it dry and then when I take it off, its like if taking off white dirt particles and it gets all over the car. So apply it then take it right off? Or apply it and wait 10-15 min and then whipe off? Thanx for the help guys, holla back!

Are you using a paste or liquid wax? A paste wax will build up on a car eventually and cause particles everywhere. But the good thing about a paste is that it last for a long time. A liquid wax/polish will not cause as many particles but doesn't last as long. Are you using a microfiber terry cloth? This will alleviate some of the particles staying on you car by "taking up" the particles. What color is your car? What kind of wax are you using? You are supposed to let the wax dry but it shouldn't take 10-15 minutes to dry and if it is you are using/putting down too much wax. Honestly you sound like you need to start from scratch all over again. Wash the car. Get the rubbing compound and strip the car of the wax. <-This will not take off your clear coat. Get the Meguiars 3 step program. Then step back and see the glory that is your car.

Im using a paste, its the Meguiars Paste. I dont use a mircofiber cloth, I use those Wool Mitts. The color of my car is a dark forest green. But yeah I might as well go ahead and strip the car off and then try again and take my time again. But thanx, Holla back!

claybars dont remove scratches or swirl marks!!!!!! what you want to find is some good quality liquid wax with carnuba in it. you can hand wax it but i recommend using an orbital buffer. can be found for $40 at sears or the alike. the orbital provides a vibration in a circular pattern which isnt high speed that pushes the wax into the paint. remove the wax with clean dry not damp but dry terry cloth towls. i have found that mothers carnuba wax comes in a red bottle is good. there are many polish's out there which will luster your paint but after a few washes and about a months time it will be lost. if you want to go all out start with a polish and finish up with a wax..if you are all lost go buy the migueres 3 step system its fairly decent if it didnt cost so much...:thumb:

Hey see CivicEX Boi try and get some pictures up in between each process. Take a before picture. Get a picture while putting the rubbing compound. After it comes off picture. During wax and after wax pictures also so everyone can see that taking your time pays off. If you can...:blue:
