Well it is my forst time to post here and I just wanted to get some peoples opinion on what I am doing. I am turning a 325is into a drifting beast. I already have alot of work into it now ( e.g - portand polish, custom 3 " exhaust, light-weight flywheel, centerforce dual friction clutch, short shifter, hks dli ignition, bosch plugs, wires, custom ram-air intake that I had desinged, custom manifold that I fabricated myself for the turbo, t 3/43 turbo, turbonetics wastegate, HUGE INTERCOOLER !, hks greddy bov, and still working on the turbo piping. Also just bought new adr wheels ( 18x8.5's - gunmetal ). Will post new pictures soon. Has anybody used clutchnet before? Wasnt too happy with my centerforce dual friciton clutch. TIME TO UPGRADE ! Not turbocharged yet, possibly done by december this year. Looking for a way to run a system to control my fuel/timming, any suggestions, or experiences. Looking to add aerolit ( possibly m3 with bigger chunk out of the main inlet for intercooler. Any ideas on other upgrades? ( this is a BMW- not a honda unfort. !) Thanks for your help. JUSTIN

I had had A turbo eclipse gs-t and before I sold it I had adr wheels on it and I loved them. Took lots of abuse, trust me! With about 320 whp and still ran strong, dont see where it could be a bad thing to puut another set on my new car. Why you think this?

You should have started with the suspension and worked up from there if it's going to be a drift car.

Your going to blow that rear end. the 325 is not suited very well for drifting or putting down that much power. You may want to check on some 330 rear ends if they will fit. As for fueling and timing.

I've got a piggy back system that we used on a 525 sport wagon with a super charger. I'll sell it with the map based tuning software for $300. retail is over $500 just pm me for details.

One more thing too, I had purchased a turbonetics manifold and had the worst luck with it too. Has anybody else had problems with their cast maniolds from turbonetics? Anyways if you want to do it right you do it yourself. I went and bought a welder, manual pipe bender, and small mill for the same price as those overpriced manifolds. I reccomend that if your lookin for a manifold the nickel content in the turbonetics manifolds might not be suffecient enough to stand the constant heat cycling a manifold undergoes. Email me if you are looking for a maniofld, and I can fab one up for you!

Honestly this was kind of a fluke project. Was going to just buy a set of coilovers when I was just intersted in the turbo, but yes now I have my eyes ona very nice and pricey set of racing coilovers from germany, and also some very nice pieces for my suspension from Acitve Autowerke.

Yes, once again I have done my research and know of this rear end problem with esp. the e-36's. Got a good deal from Fred of Active Autowerke for a new rear-end differential cover and new rear-end parts frotifying my rear end. Will prob buy these in about a month or so, if not sooner. Which piggy back system did you use, and was it effective?

i'm not gonna take the energy to respond to this, so i'm going to respond to this??? it works a lot better when you actually DON'T RESPOND.

now back on topic, i'll have to wait and actually see all the parts you're claiming, until then you're just some punk kid talking about what he "PLANS" to do. i'll believe it all when i see it.

oh god get over it, so what if he bought used wheels. they came off of a showcar practically brand new. and btw, some of the most prestigious wheels are ones that are no longer in production, especially custom ones from a well known wheel company. stop crying about what other people post, jeez
