well, from what you are saying....you are gonna be on the kerry bandwagon...you have items that he is trying to hit specifically with the voters....because your concerns are the concerns of many...he knows that.....the bad thing about kerry is that he doesnt have any decent record for his 19 years in the senate, in fact, he failed to show up for a crap load of the votes etc etc......but he is laying claim to solve all of your problems....problem is, he wont tell us how until we vote him in.....very shady if you ask me.......extremely shady political background and as proven, he was a treasonistic individual who blatantly went and spoke against his own country.....there has been plenty of FACTS posted about him and his past......
as far as GW, he has been president through a very rough 4 years, he has stood firm in his actions and has done well by many even after inheriting the problems left by the previous administartion....proven....again, much has been posted about him and his past on this forum.....I feel mostly posted stuff about him not being a war hero...whereas kerry only served 2.5 months and submitted himself up for the purple hearts he wears all well knowing a sailor thrice wounded gets to go home....some hero...henceforth the 2.5 month tour.....then he came home and slammed the guys he left behind

I am biased as you can tell so please read up on your own......
you have the internet at your disposal to research these canidates.....
might I recommend you start with:
http://www.bushforpresident.com/ and then maybe visit:
http://www.vietnamveteransagainstjohnkerry.org/

there are tons and tons of links on both sites to give you the information you are looking for.......choose wisely son, YOUR future depends on it.

I have a few questions for you:

Did they volunteer to go? If so, why?

Do you respect their choice, and respect thier sacrifice?

and most importantly, Do you understand why people volunteer to do this type of dangerous work?

FYI. I also have family over there, they were home for a couple of weeks before going back to the sand... I know they have the best equipment we can send them, and the best support we can give them... the fact that casualties have been so low during this operation is a blessing to our country.

Once sanity returns to Iraq, and it becomes a posting like Germany or Japan, I predict we will continue to have a lot of patriotic people sign up for military service, and rotate through there...
