we shot the scene on 288. Starting from about Reed RD to Beltway 8. We blocked it off for quite awhile. :roflmao:

This was one of the craziest experiences I had. It was an awesome sight. About 20 cars on the highway rollin in a formation. I had high winds blowing in my face with the camera as my car moved at about 50mph. I was trying hard to hold the camera thru the sunroof of my BMW to get steady shots. Then my friend driving hit the hazards and they all zoomed passed me in formation. This is what the Import Scene is all about! Only the guys at ICCH could have made a spectacle like this happen!
And to think it was only the first day of filming!

It wont work on Quicktime or Realplayer. You can onlywatch it on Windows Media Player or divx player. If you dont see a picture download divX plug-in from www.divx.com

Let me tell you, the filming last night was one of the craziest things we've done. The people that helped hold back the 59 traffic for over half an hour deserve a big thanks. i had tried to arrange somthing like this for the baytown trip months ago but never got enough cars.. if ya'll need any additional cameramen i have a DCR-TRV340, not the best, but it will produce pretty damn good shots given semi decent lighting, i'd be happy to hop on board cause i like doing shit like this..

i have designed a bracket to allow people to do that w/ out fuckin there car's up.. just need to get a machine shop or any place w/ a welding torch to make it for me so i can test it.. would use a bullet camera or a conventional handheld w/ specialized mount.

Thanx for your input and support. I will try to keep everyone updated on the production of ICCH 2003 as often as I can. This video will be filmed strictly in Digital Video format. The filming part of the production has been divided into 3 parts:

1. Character intro shots featuring: Hannah (she's on this months Import Tuner cover for who doesnt know her) Alyssa Lynh and ICCH's Dolcesecrett, Sandra - Winner of the ICCH 2003 model search.
2. Car scenes which include Highway scenes, chase scenes and race scenes
3. Aerial scenes

Some of the shootings will be open to whoever wants to be a part of this experience and has Vic's permission.

I encourage everyone to support ICCH in everyway they can, your support is what makes all this possible. :)

Tust me, we are taking every precaution and safety is a big issue. These guys might be newbies at making a video but they are not newbies at driving...unlike a lot of car clubs out there, these guys (and girls) can handle thier cars!
The more complex sequences will be shot on closed courses with permits while others are just on public highways. Just dont get any ideas and try some of this. :)
