I was goin down 59 south passing hwy 6 when i see a 95 civic hatch with type r logos all over it he even had the type r body. Ill admit it wasnt a bad looking car except later on when we meet at the new Joes crab shack he only had the gsr motor i dont know what mods. Honestly i thought i was gonna lose. Here is a look at my car! It has hks fireball exhaust with dc headers and aem cold air.

Anyways we line up at a light and we both spin all threw 1st and i catch in 2nd and tear off while he is getting his traction im all ready gone. He says he had a bad start and well he did so i was like maybe that was luck. We start again and he does the same thing so either he sucks at driving or his car is really fast. So we start of goin about 40 and i slam it into first and im gone when we got up to the next light which was not very far i had gottin up to 100 and he said he got up to about 85. All in all i was satified it was a great match.

BULL SHIT or that guy lied to you and doesnt have a b18c.... but hey everyone dreams now and then. but back to why i posted..i really do have a gsr engine in my 95 civic hatch back... i even roll around on steelies. but if you would like ill race ya. if it gives you any confidence in your car i ran a 28.5 at 32mph once. :kekegay:

where to start...where to start...

first off n00b, how would a 95 hatch (eg) have a "type r body" when the type R wasn't made for another 3 years AFTER that car was produced. The Civic Type R was not produced until 1998, which was the EK chassis.

next, the "Fireball" exhaust is a 5Zigen product, not HKS. wanna take another shot at that one Chief?

finally, i wasn't aware that the inline four cylinder motor in your EP3 had multiple banks. Seeing as how it only has one back, it would make better use of a header. Headers are for cars with more than one bank. You car is only equipped with one. Flat motors, V's and W's are all multi bank.

His was stock i have heads, hks full exhaust and cold air. Look im not making it up thats pretty sad of yall to think i would make that shit up. Its not even that big of a deal i wasnt even braging i was just saying what had happened. It was white and its was the hatch before mine. It had type r emblems so it was a fake. I asked him if he had the type r motors and he said no the gsr. I asked what mods and he said none. My car has about 180hp at the most and his is 170 am i right? Yes his car is lighter but my gears are closer together. bump

not saying your lieing man.. but a hatch with a GSR with i/e was right next to me at 11psi.. while at the same psi, i ran a i/h/e minivan si and he was way behind me.. like 4-5 cars man. The guy you raced prolly didnt up grade his pulley's or didnt change his gear ratio. My friend turboed his civic and blew his intake manifold. well, the GSR stayed right next to me... the Si got stomped bad.. and this is at 11psi. I am the one with a turbo, and i drive an Eclipse GST.. my good friend had a very quik turbo Si 99 model. The cars i raced were an Si was i/h/e and the GSR was i/e. I have raced a many of the 02+ Si's man.. i know there has to be quiker ones out there, but I haven't heard of them changing gear ratio's.. just adding poweradders. a 95 civic with GSR swap is good for mid-low 14's man.. i seriously doubt you in the 13's. But anything is possible. As for pulley's.. the possible 5bhp you would gain wouldn't make a big enough difference.. 4-5 cars is a good 2 secs to 3 secs in the 1/4(est.)

yeah some people like to put sticker on their car but you don't know until you look under the hood. I don't think he has a gsr motor or he can't drive. Seriously, a 02 si won't hang with a 95 hatch with a gsr motor. But the good thing is you beat them so you not a bad drive.

damn your good. lol with a bone stock gsr swap and on decent falken tires i ran a 14.4 at 95mph and i was also on an ls tranny not even a gsr. and the new si's are prolly like a high 15... no offense blusiboy but i bet you could take one lol jk philly
