haha, maybe i am a little biased against ma, but don't even try to get into a knowledge fest. we'll pull out all the stops... bass traps in kick panels, dampening, reflections, etc etc. $100 says i won't be mouthing off about shit i don't know about... buddy.

well i started the other thread where all this stuff started, so i'll just say its nothing about JL or MA, its just that i got the JL's for a good price....so sorry about all this arguing and shit, but as long as it stays clean! i dont know much about audio so i just needed some suggestions....

alright fella's, i guess i'll chill and put in some positive info too.. JL rocks... for the most part, their woofers are extremely efficicient, and work well in just about any enclosure known to man. i know i remember not too long ago, when 5 15w3's set the world record with a 177.1, now that was impressive... wasn't it people? who all remembers the days when it took fakuda 16 15's to hit in the 159's, lol...

DAMN MAN!...go'n waaaaaaay back ...LOL...that was like...back in 90...92?...and now they can do thoughts numbers with 1 15"....

thew world record is 177.7 right now...and I can't remeber the name brand of the amps/woofers...tkr prelude do you still have that magazine at the shop?

I could have sworn last year at SBN Gates did something like 178.2...am I just flat out wrong on that? Or is it just a different class than the straight up on the dash windows up like ya'll are talking?

not in a legal sactioned(sp) event....on the dash with the windows replaced with lexan....its 177.7 as of the last competion.

lavrynx?...my port is shaped like an "L" to get the length I needed...its tuned hi at 48...but it got down to 38 by the time it went through my trunk to the dash...I had two port systems work'n there...

Alma hasn't competed in any SPL sanctioning organization in a while.

The loudest right now would be Team BS, from Germany or somewhere in Europe. They use Treo subs, if i'm not mistaken. Their Van is crazy loud.

And BTW, MA Audio is crap.......

If you want subs to brag about go to www.ddaudio.com and get some real subs.

Or you could get some of Rockford's subs, ShockerAudio, Treo, or even the CV Stroker.
